Hyderabad-based Premier Energies has joined hands with BA Prerna Renewables to expand its presence in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) segment of the clean energy sector.
The joint venture will be executed through HeliosAnthos Energies, a newly incorporated company in which Premier Energies will acquire and hold 51% equity stake, while BA Prerna Renewables will hold the remaining. HeliosAnthos Energies plans to undertake EPC contracts for solar, wind, standalone battery, solar-wind-battery hybrid projects across India. The JV will offer end-to-end EPC solutions covering land acquisition, transmission connectivity, statutory approvals, detailed engineering, among others. "The JV would strengthen our EPC capabilities and expand our footprint across renewable energy sector," said Chiranjeev Saluja, CEO of Premier Energies.
