'Ground Zero' enjoyed a decent run during its first six days at the box office, collecting an estimated Rs. 7.26 crore net in India. As the film entered its seventh day, all eyes were on its performance to see whether it could maintain the momentum. Here’s a look at 'Ground Zero’s' Day 7 box office collection.




Sharp Drop on Day 7



According to reports by Sacnilk, 'Ground Zero' earned around Rs. 0.07 crore (7 lakh) on its seventh day at the Indian box office. The film, which had a fair opening, has witnessed a noticeable drop in collections as the week progressed.




Opening Weekend Collections



'Ground Zero' began its box office journey on Friday with an opening of Rs. 1.15 crore. Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar , the film collected Rs. 1.9 crore on Saturday and Rs. 2.25 crore on Sunday, as reported by Sacnilk.




Midweek Decline in Earnings



On Monday, the film’s earnings dropped below Rs. 1 crore, bringing in around Rs. 70 lakh. It couldn’t bounce back, earning Rs. 80 lakh on Tuesday. Thursday saw a sharper dip, with the collection falling to about Rs. 0.07 crore. The total collection now stands at approximately Rs. 7.33 crore.




Facing Tough Box Office Competition



'Ground Zero' has completed its first week in cinemas but now faces fresh competition from new releases such as ' Raid 2 ' and 'The Bhootnii'. It is already up against the re-release of 'Andaz Apna Apna', as well as 'Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh'.




Based on a Real-Life Operation



Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, 'Ground Zero' is based on the real-life 2003 counter-terrorism operation that led to the killing of Ghazi Baba—the mastermind behind the 2001 Parliament and Akshardham attacks. Emraan Hashmi plays the lead role and has received praise from both critics and audiences for his strong performance.
