Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that India, a nation of more than a billion people, is also a place of more than a billion tales, adding that the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) showcases the country’s creative capabilities on a worldwide scale.

PM Modi said that now is the ideal moment to “Create In India, Create For The World” during the opening of the WAVES Summit at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai.

“The World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit, or WAVES, is a wave of creativity, culture, and global connectivity—it is more than simply an acronym. India has a wealth of tales that date back thousands of years; these stories are ageless, thought-provoking, and really global at an era when the world is searching for fresh storytelling techniques,” he added.

India’s first-ever World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit is called WAVES 2025.

WAVES would be an important platform where “Creativity meets Coding, Software blends with Storytelling, and Art merges with Augmented Reality,” PM Modi said. He encouraged young artists to take advantage of this chance, have great dreams, and work hard to make their ideas a reality.
