On Thursday, April 30, a Bob Mills SkyNews 9 helicopter went down at Wiley Post Airport in the US state of Oklahoma. The report claims that the copper carrying two people overturned at the airport. No deaths were recorded after the event, and the lone traveler only had minor injuries. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) hurried to the scene of the incident to conduct an investigation.
Tim Young, a photographer, and pilot Jim Gardner were on board the helicopter when it crashed. As a “precautionary measure,” both are being examined and are in good health.
According to The Lost Ogle’s story, SkyNews 9 notified its staff by official email. The email says, “We wanted to let you know that there was an incident with Bob Mills SkyNews 9 this evening (Thursday) while we were making our way back to the airport (Wiley Post Airport).” The helicopter sustained damage as a result of this during the landing.
Providing more information on their aboard staff, “We are happy to hear that Jim and Tim are doing well. As a precaution, they are now being examined.
