In 2020, the Modi government launched the e-program scheme to provide economic security to the persons working in the unorganized sector. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance as well as accident insurance of Rs 2 lakh. Currently, about 28.42 crore people have made an e-labor card under this scheme. Any Indian citizen who works in an unorganized sector can be involved in this scheme.
The age limit of enrollment for this scheme is 16 to 59 years. If you are eligible for this scheme and have not yet taken advantage of it, you must adopt it, as this scheme is helping to improve the economic condition of the people. The main objective of the e-Labber Card Scheme is to collect workers in the unorganized sector. Under this, the central government provides financial assistance to the workers.
Under this scheme, accident insurance of Rs 2 lakh is also given to eligible persons. All types of workers such as hawkers, vegetable vendors, domestic workers and young businessmen can avail this scheme.
Workers' cards are issued a few days after registration through the e -ram portal. The purpose of this portal is to bring all the workers of the country on one platform. If the central government launches a new scheme in future, it will benefit the registered workers through this portal. Currently, individuals enrolled under this scheme get an accident insurance of Rs 2 lakh.
Registration requires some necessary documents, such as Aadhaar card, passport size photo, income certificate, and bank passbook.
To get an e-live card, you have to apply online. For this, first of all go to the e -ram portal and register on the e-labor option. Next, enter your mobile number and OTP. Then submit the application for the e-labor card form, which will complete your registration process.
